SALVINI Opens the Gap, FREEMAN Takes the E1 Plate!

This Trentino Grand Prix at the Off Road Park in Pietramurata brought many surprises in each category, as well as confirmations, and a new 24MX leader in the Enduro 1 category: Brad FREEMAN (GB - Beta Boano).

Despite a mechanical problem that caused him to lose a lot of time in Enduro Test 3, the Beta Boano rider took full advantage of the retirement of his rival; Yamaha Outsider Official rider Jamie MCCANNEY (GB) who went out with a dislocated shoulder. FREEMAN therefore took the lead in Enduro 1. But he was not the only one to benefit, because Antoine BASSET (F -Gas Gas) climbed onto the second step of the podium and consolidated his place in the top three overall.

For his part, Alex SALVINI (I - Husqvarna), with his home victory, has a tighter grip on his 24MX Leader Plate in EnduroGP, and is now 8 points ahead of his nearest contender, Steve HOLCOMBE (GB - Beta). Eero REMES (SF - TM) continues to lose ground and even saw Brad FREEMAN beat him in the battle for the last place on the podium...
In E2, another win for SALVINI - who now has a 31 points advantage on his rival Loïc LARRIEU (F - Yamaha), and 34 on REMES!

In Enduro 3, too, Steve HOLCOMBE consolidates his 24MX leader’s position with 164 pts ahead of the Gas Gas pair Christophe NAMBOTIN (F - Gas Gas) and Danny MCCANNEY (GB - Gas Gas), 138 pts each.

In Junior, once again Matteo CAVALLO (I - Beta Boano) was completely unstoppable, and now he has only one thing in mind: the title! He’s the 24MX leader by 27 points ahead of Andrea VERONA (I - TM), the next Grand Prix in Edolo (Italy) will be crucial for CAVALLO.

Finally, in Youth 125cc, Ruy BARBOSA (CL - Husqvarna) won a major victory on Saturday night in his duel with the Belgian Matthew VAN OEVELEN (B - Sherco). He remains the owner of the 24MX Leader Board in the smallest capacity class.

This Trentino Grand Prix, with its very special format, enabled SALVINI, HOLCOMBE, CAVALLO and BARBOSA to confirm their places at the top of their respective categories, while FREEMAN has finally been able to hold a 24MX plate in his hands and, as a result, becomes a serious candidate for the E1 title. See you on September 1st and 2nd in Edolo (Italy) for the 6th round of the season.
