Privateer Finnish squad Kytönen Motorsport has three riders on their Husqvarnas this season: Henric STIGELL in E2, Eemil POHJOLA in the Juniors and Hugo SVARD in the FIM Youth 125cc. But after his impressive double win in Finland, POHJOLA has suffered with injuries... therefore Team Manager Harri LEPPÄLAAKSO has decided to replace him, giving Lari JUKOLA (SF) the opportunity to ride at the forthcoming Polisport Grand Prix of Portugal!
The younger brother of Aleksi (who was well known for riding with the Beta Boano team in 2014), Lari JUKOLA will make his return to the Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship... Indeed, the 21-year-old Finn competed on a KTM against the likes of SORECA, MIRABET and others at the opening round of the season, at the legendary Lake Päijänne. Unfortunately, while battling for the podium on the first day, he was injured and had to give up...
Considered to be one of the most promising Scandinavian talents, Lari JUKOLA will be back in the Junior class. He will be present in Castelo Branco next weekend with a Husqvarna 350FE run by the Kytönen Motorsport team.
Even just for one round, it is a great initiative by LEPPÄLAAKSO and the Kytönen Motorsport team to offer a young talent like Lari JUKOLA the opportunity to replace POHJOLA and race in the World Championship again. No doubt the Finn will want to prove that the talent he showed at Päitsi is real, and that he has the speed to get closer to the best guys in the class.
