The Akrapovic Super Test Award for HOLCOMBE!

The German Grand Prix got off to an electric start tonight with the last Akrapovic Super Test of the season! This special test saw Steve HOLCOMBE (GB - Beta) leave with the cheque for 1,500€ offered by title sponsor Akrapovic Exhausts, at the expense of the winner 2017, Alex SALVINI (I - Husqvarna).

LARRIEU Takes the Spoils on the Night

A huge crowd of fans from all over Germany gathered tonight at 19.00 at Museumspark in Rüdersdorf to attend this exciting Super Test Akrapovic.
And they were definitely not disappointed given the show and the suspense offered up by the stars of EnduroGP!
While Loïc LARRIEU (F - Yamaha) set the fastest time on the last Super Test of the season with a hot lap of 1'10''21, Steve HOLCOMBE stole the show by winning the 2018 Super Test Akrapovic Award to round off the season long battle with SALVINI. Although the Factory Beta rider set the second fastest time of the night (1'10''47), the Italian, meanwhile, lost all hope of winning the award for the second time in a row due to a mistake on the first corner!
Behind LARRIEU and HOLCOMBE, it was Thomas OLDRATI (I - Honda RedMoto) who signed off the third best time (1'11''56) just in front of the surprise of the evening;  Tosha SCHAREINA (E - Husqvarna)...

This last Akrapovic Super Test of the year created a perfect start to the race weekend. Tomorrow will be a tough opening day for the stars of the discipline, with possibility of two champions crowned by the end of the day. See you at 09:00 in Rüdersdorf to see if HOLCOMBE and Brad FREEMAN (GB - Beta Boano) will finish the job in EGP, E3, and E1 and watch out for a huge duel between SALVINI and REMES for the title in E2!
